Aretha Franklin wants to be an American Idol judge, but there could be a slight problem getting her to audition sites across the country: She's afraid of flying. Celebuzz lists nine other celebrity phobias, from the everyday to the downright bizarre:

• Kristen Stewart: She's been scared of horses since breaking an elbow as a child, but managed to ride in Snow White and the Huntsman. "I just had to not think about it," she says.
• Johnny Depp: The actor has a weird tactic for dealing with his fear of clowns: He surrounds himself with "clown posters, clown paintings," he says, in the hope that they "will ward off all evil."

• Matthew McConaughey: He's scared of shirts. No, just kidding: It's revolving doors that terrify him.
• Tyra Banks: Everyone loves dolphins, right? Not Tyra. She once said she feels "anxiety and panic" whenever she even thinks about them, noting, "It's happening right now."
