Conservative Muslims' latest holy war is being waged against Lady Gaga and her Indonesia tour. The extremist Islamic Defenders’ Front (FPI) accuses Gaga of promoting devil worship, and has vowed to mobilize 30,000 protesters to intercept her at the Jakarta airport so she can't perform next month at the the Bung Karno soccer stadium. "We will stop her from setting foot on our land. She had better not dare spread her satanic faith in this country," group chairman Salim Alatas told the New Zealand Herald. "Her style is vulgar, her sexual and indecent clothes will destroy our children's sense of morality. She's very dangerous."

A group of conservative Christians in South Korea protested against Gaga’s concert there last month, saying she promoted homosexuality. More than 25,000 tickets to Gaga's Jakarta concert were sold in the first two hours they were available. Some 40,000 fans plan to attend. No word from Gaga about the dust up, but the singer's faithful "Little Monsters" are ready to rumble. "Little Monsters Indonesia vs FPI. I'm ready to fight," one fan tweeted to LadyGagaIndo. Gaga's "Born This Way" tour kicked off in Seoul last month. (More Jakarta stories.)
