Sometimes Easter's not all it's cracked up to be. Ask the parents of a 3-year-old British boy who ended up standing on a live grenade at an Easter egg hunt. "It was brown and about four inches high. It looked like an Easter egg, but it was a hand grenade," said a dad who spotted the tiny bomb beneath the toddler's foot. "I was shocked. The boy who was standing on it thought it was a rock." An Army bomb squad was called in; it evacuated more than 20 young children and their parents from the Holford site and detonated the grenade, reports the New York Daily News. Authorities believe the grenade was left over from World War II. An American Army base used to be located nearby. (More UK stories.)
