Tired of the same old bars and shows when you vacation in Las Vegas? Now, for a few hundred dollars, you can rent bona fide automatic weapons and fire them until the floor is piled high with shells, the New York Times reports. Machine Guns Vegas, with its black-clad hostesses and exotic weapons cache, is aiming to attract high-rolling clientele who have a penchant for Uzis and M-16s. And customers seem satisfied, even giddy with the thrill of firepower.
“I shoot a lot at home,” says a Texas construction supervisor who brought his son. “But this is something I’ll never get a chance to do anywhere else: full auto.” There's also a VIP area with cappuccino machine, leather couches, and—thankfully—no alcohol. Nightclub impresario Genghis Cohen says he wants the place "to have a Melrose boutique feel to it” that would appeal to the "vice president of the Palazzo or the Wynn. “You’re like, ‘Oh, it’s lunch break.
