Politics / Herman Cain Cain to Talk With Wife About Campaign's Future He still hasn't talked with her about it By Kevin Spak, Newser Staff Posted Dec 1, 2011 12:18 PM CST Copied In this May 21, 2011 file photo, Gloria Cain, left, accompanies her husband Herman Cain as he announces his run for Republican candidate for president to cheering throngs in Atlanta. (AP Photo/David Goldman, File) Herman Cain still hasn’t talked with wife Gloria Cain about the allegations that he had a 13-year affair with Ginger White, and he says he’ll have to do that before deciding whether to stay in the race for the GOP nomination. “Since I’ve been campaigning all week, I haven’t had the opportunity to sit down with her,” Cain told reporters yesterday, according to the New York Daily News. “I am not going to make a decision until after we talk face to face.” The momentous sit-down should occur when Cain returns home tomorrow. Cain has so far denied all of White’s accusations, and has stepped up his touring schedule since they came to light. “There were some people who thought I was finished,” he told one New Hampshire crowd. “But I’m going to leave it with Yogi Berra’s comment: ‘It ain’t over til it’s over.’ And it ain’t over yet.” (More Herman Cain stories.)
