Apple today acknowledged that some iPhone 4S users are getting lousy battery life but promised that a fix is on the way, reports AllThingsD. The glitch appears to be with the iOS 5 software, not the phone itself. Apple's statement: “A small number of customers have reported lower than expected battery life on iOS 5 devices. We have found a few bugs that are affecting battery life and we will release a software update to address those in a few weeks.” Complaints have been rising on online boards of late.
