(YouTube) First lady Michelle Obama sent out her first tweet ever this week while attending the World Series in St. Louis, reports USA Today. "Military families serve our nation too," it reads. "Let's all show our appreciation by #JoiningForces with them. Get involved: JoiningForces.gov." The tweet was signed simply, "mo". The short communiqué was released into the Twittersphere from the @joiningforces account, the Twitter handle of the first lady's project to aid military families.
