At least seven people have died, all victims of collisions on ice-slicked roads. Dozens of accidents were reported in Iowa and Illinois. The storm dumped two feet of snow in Colorado, and thousands of Illinois and Iowa residents faced electricity blackouts. The weather canceled hundreds of flights in Chicago and Milwaukee, and shut down the Des Moines airport. Mitt Romney canceled three Iowa campaign stops, while Bill Clinton canceled a Des Moines rally in support of his wife's campaign.
