Tony Bennett Gets First No. 1 Album—at 85

Not even controversial comments about 9/11 can slow down Tony Bennett. The octogenarian crooner has been topping singles charts since 1951, but only now, 60 years later, has he finally landed his first No. 1 album, reports Billboard. In fact, Duets 2 makes Bennett the oldest ever artist to top Billboard's album chart, by far—at 85, Bennett is 18 years older than Bob Dylan was when he last reached No. 1, with 2009's Together Through Life.

With 179,000 copies of his album sold, it's not Bennett's best-selling album—the first Duets album sold 202,000 copies in its first week, but that was only good enough for third place. Bennett also became the oldest ever artist to land on Billboard's singles chart, when his duet with the late Amy Winehouse, "Body and Soul," made its debut at No. 87 last week.
