Bristol Palin would like you to know she is not a homophobe, thank you very much. In another sign of how quickly things can spiral downward anytime there's a mechanical bull involved, the eldest Palin daughter was filming her reality show at a bar and had just fallen off the aforementioned bull when a heckler called out, "Your mom's a whore" and a "f---ing devil." Palin approached the man, notes KTLA, and retorted, "Is it because you're a homosexual?"
"Pretty much," responded 47-year-old Stephen Hanks, who looked to have enjoyed some adult beverages and has since said he regrets his outburst. "And why did you say I'm a homosexual?" "Because I can tell you are," shot back Palin. A heated conversation ensued; click the video below if you can bear it. A Palin rep tells TMZ that "Bristol responded to the unprovoked verbal assault by calmly standing her ground and defending her family... accusing her of homophobia is completely unfounded and totally misstates her views."
