Ricky Davis had a season high 23 points off the bench, to help push the struggling Heat past Charlotte last night, 110-90, the AP reports. Rookie Daequan Cook missed only two shots en route to a career best 19 points, and stars Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O'Neal scored 13 and 15 points respectively, with limited playing time. In other action:

  • Despite Vince Carter's 32 points and Jason Kidd's triple-double, the Grizzlies won their second game in a row for the first time this season, beating the Nets 110-103. Pau Gasol finished with a strong 22 points for Memphis, and Mike Miller added 19.  It took Memphis 59 fewer games than last year to accomplish the feat of going on a win streak.
