Great news, moms! Shape-Ups, the Skechers shoes that, as Jessica Wakeman writes on the Frisky, "claim to tone your ass," are now available for your little girl. The commercial for the baby butt-toning sneakers includes, of course, a reference to "looking good" and shows a girl being "trailed by three panting boys," Wakeman writes. "Lovely message to send to elementary schoolers, Skechers: Look good and boys will like you."

Of course, while Skechers has touted the butt-toning properties of its shoes in adult commercials, this time around it's all about "getting fit." Either way, this is "f***ed up and gross," Wakeman concludes. On Jezebel, Morning Gloria concurs: "Little girls should not worry about toning their thighs and butts ... why can't we give them their first decade of life free from the 'You're Fat, Ergo Buy This Product' cacophony." (Not to mention, studies show the shoes don't even work.)
