(AP Photo/Julie Jacobson) Donald Trump was just plain fibbing when he said he might announce his presidential run—or at least when he’d be announcing his presidential run—on the season finale of the Celebrity Apprentice, according to NBC. “There will be no announcement,” NBC publicity director Sharon Pannozzo tells the National Journal. “It’s just misinformation on his part.” The Journal notes that Pannozzo “sounded a little miffed with the Donald’s false advertising.” It turns out there’s a very simple reason Trump can’t make an announcement during the finale: It was taped back in November. “So there will be no opportunity for him to do something like that,” Pannozzo explains. A Trump spokesman confirms that, though he adds, “It’s not inconceivable that he will make an announcement either before or after the finale.” Read These Next ICE arrests casino magnate in a remote US territory.
