Ron Paul Wins CPAC Straw Poll, Again

Ron Paul remains the darling of CPAC. The GOP congressman won the annual straw poll at the conservative convention for the second year in a row with 30% of the vote, reports Human Events. Mitt Romney finished second at 23%, and nobody else cracked 6%. Chris Christie and former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson got that amount for third place, followed by Newt Gingrich with 5%, notes Fox News.

Bringing up the rear: Tim Pawlenty, Michele Bachmann, and Mitch Daniels at 4%; Sarah Palin at 3%; Herman Cain, Rick Santorum, and John Thune at 2%; and Jon Huntsman and Haley Barbour at 1%.
