Don Imus, the radio host taken off the air in April after referring to the Rutgers women's basketball team as "nappy-headed hos," will be back on the air Dec. 3 on a New York radio station. The New York Post reports Imus has signed a five-year deal that will net him as much as $8 million annually.

Imus will start out on WABC-AM (770), and sources say he likely will eventually be syndicated across WABC's 22 affiliates. "We are ecstatic to bring Don Imus back to morning radio," the station's president said. "Don's … humor, knowledge of the issues and ability to attract big-name guests is unparalleled. He is rested, fired up and ready to do great radio." (More Don Imus stories.)
