Droopy drawers used to be a problem for Memphis middle school principal Bobby White, but he's solved it with a little help from an old pop-culture icon: Steve Urkel, the perennial nerd. Kids roaming the halls with no belt or excessively saggy pants now get "Urkeled"—school staffers use zip-ties to cinch their pants up, in true Urkel fashion, WMCTV reports. "They can put your pants as high as your chest," says one Urkeled student. "And they can put as many as three or four on you."
The humiliating tactic is working: "We saw a more than 80% drop in the number of people that we actually have to put a zip tie on," said one administrator.
