Shape Apologizes for Putting Rimes on Cover

Who knew LeAnn Rimes offended so many people? Enough readers complained about her appearance on the cover of Shape that the editor-in-chief actually apologized, TooFab.com reports. Rimes, of course, cheated on her husband with also-married co-star Eddie Cibrian, ultimately breaking up both marriages. In an email to subscribers who believe "Shape has made a terrible mistake," Valerie Latona apologized.

The magazine did not mean "to put a husband-stealer on a pedestal," she wrote, "but to show (through her story) how we all are human. And this woman in particular found strength in exercise in what she said was her most difficult personal moment." For more, or to see the cover, click here.
