Prince William helped save a man's life over the weekend as part of an RAF air-sea rescue, the Telegraph reports. William's team was summoned after a man on an offshore oil rig suffered a heart attack. A Sea King helicopter co-piloted by William got him to a hospital, where he's recovering.

"Prince William is pleased finally to be able to contribute to the life-saving work of the Search and Rescue Force," says a spokesman for the prince. "He is proud, after two years of intense training, to be able to serve in one of Britain’s foremost emergency services.” William will spend the next three years as a pilot with the unit.
